“A dog doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, smart or dumb. Give him your heart…and he’ll give you his.”

His name is Archer, but we call him Archie! He has been a foster here at Buddy's House for over 3 weeks now. He hasn't had anyone wanting to scoop him up yet and we are hopeful he'll find the perfect family soon! He is a 4 year old 55lb Australian Cattle dog mix. He's up to date on all his vaccines and is neutered. Archie was rescued from Roswell NM in a kill-shelter and made the journey here.

Archie is quite the character and would likely do best in a home with experience with Heelers. His breed shows through at times: he Is extremely loyal and would be a great guard dog and he does tend to nip at heels. He is a bit weary of new people at times, especially men, but once he warms up he's a total love bug! He loves to snuggle and is very playful. Archie would do well with other dogs and possibly children and cats too. He would love nothing more than a family of his own.
