Hi there! My name is Dixie. I'm an 8 year old Spaniel mix and am ready for my forever home. I was rescued out of Roswell New Mexico after being put on the euthanasia list. I made the journey here and am hoping to find the perfect home. 

I am a sweet girl and I enjoy being around people. I am easygoing and enjoy pets and cuddles. I love going for walks and am great on leash. I would be a great hiking/adventure partner. I am huge on exploring and would love a big yard where I can roam. But, as long as I am allowed out to sniff and enjoy the outdoors, I will be happy!  I would do best in a home as a single pup. I'm not very interested in other animals, but could be okay in a home with a male pup. As long as my boundaries are respected, I don't mind. If you're in search of a walking/hiking buddy that is also up for cuddles, come see me! 

I am spayed, up to date on shots, housetrained, crate trained, good on leash, good in the car, good with some dogs, friendly with people, and ready to go home!!
